Is This Heaven Or Is It Sandals Negril?

Having only heard about Sandals resorts, I had no idea what to expect. Before I even got on the ground, I could not believe how beautiful the flight into Montego Bay was. Once on the ground, after I made my through customs , I was pointed in the direction of the Sandals lobby. The lobby was cute, comfortable and some of the nicest people were walking around serving snacks and beverages. After about a 15 min. wait I was called to get on the shuttle. About an hour and a half later we arrived! Immediately after getting off the shuttle I was greeted by a Sandals employee with a cool, lemongrass scented, towel (I later learned they actually grown the lemongrass on the property and then infuse it into the towels...AMAZING!). I entered trough the arch opening and it literally took my breath away. It was STUNNING!!!

S-T-U-N-N-I-N-G!! The open air lobby its self was paradise! Please believe me when I tell you that I was absolutely taken back by how beautiful it was. Everything was perfect. From the pool view on my right to the hanging swings to the ocean view, this place could not have delivered another thing that wasn't already there. Right about the time I started to head toward the front desk to check in, I was guided up a flight of stairs to a lobby (Wait! No crazy check in process?). The lobby smelled so incredible that I almost cried (no, I'm not kidding)! I was handed a signature cocktail (Oh my word that was good!) and greeted by the amazing concierge staff. After finishing my glass of amazingness my personal concierge escorted me to my room. Just when I was thinking nothing could be better, he opened the door to suite 5206. You. Have. Got. To. Be. Kidding. ME!!!!!! I'm including a video because words will never be enough.

The next four days I lived in awe of this place. From the wood fired pizza to the perfectly landscaped grounds to the most adorable restaurants, no detail was left behind. I took part in all kinds of the all-inclusive activities. I drank Jamaican Smiles like it was my job (not a clue what is in them but damn they were good!). I swam up to the pool bar just because I could. I snorkeled, went tubing and danced at the silent dance party. This place was awe-mazing!

And the people! Don't even get me started on how much I loved the Jamaican friends I made! Each and every person on the Sandals staff was way above and beyond amazing. They even sang to us as we departed (okay, I may have actually cried this time).

Friends, if you have a travel bucket list, a Sandals resort needs to be added ASAP! I promise you that when you arrive you will be questioning if it's heaven too! Pinky promise!
